recording video of Traktor in action

In addition to the audio I'd like to record video of my screen while I'm mixing a set in Traktor. Can someone please recommend some software that can record at high resolution and framerate? My goal is to post screencast videos on Youtube.

try the "debut video capture software" and go into "settings" to choose high resolution and framerates.

 

anybody cmiiw, but most decent screencasting software (think camtasia studio) doesn't play nice with asio drivers. so, at least on windows, you either use an WDM driver--which, unfortunately, means high latencies--or you capture the audio separately. if you go for the latter route, this means you'll have to mux video and audio afterwards.

EDIT: i have to admit though, i'm mostly using screencasting for non-dj purposes. probably other ppl have better info than me. my guess would be that those who record instructional vids (like on DJTT) should know...

 

Thanks very much for the advice, guys. I gave Debut a quick test and am quite pleased with the results. I intend to let Traktor output to WAV and will try to sync it up with the video in post prod.
