    FOR Fu#$ sake!

I just recorded a mix using vinyl and scratch using the Traktor record system. Track decks were set to live input and swapped during mixing to track decks and back again as I mixed. Problem Traktor records both live inputs regardless if the volume/crossfader on the mixer has that channel off WTF sort of dumb ass system is that?

Im getting the feeling its not possible to record mixes with Traktor if I want to swap between vinyl and scratch? If you use direct thru nothing is recorded?

    Sort it out NI!

you might want to turn down your language. this is not how we speak here.

the "dumb ass" might sit in front of the computer.
try "external mixing mode" and have a read in the manual first before ranting in such an inappropriate way.

    +1

If you mix externally you have to record externally. You need to connect an output of your mixer back into your soundcard and record from that.

Hey Mate. This is your last warning. Your tone and language are totally unacceptable. Next offense will earn you a ban.

you can see a forum as the house of NI, where you are welcome - until you start to be ugly to the host.
this would be the moment where you'll have to go. in the real world and here, too.

Offense lol. Tone and language totally unacceptable lol. If you want to ban me and ban free speech and criticism go for it. Criticism in any form can help towards improvements.

If I need help I will use the ticket system, to be fair its a far better way for getting my issues resolved anyway.

Remember without paying customers there is no NI. I am a paying customer and that is what the forum is for, not for moderator egotism!

Whatever you do to make yourselves feel better Im sorry I wont have a chance to read it (

    cheers

    2 things.

    1. The forum is a user forum. Users help other users. It is not a tool to communicate with NI. That's what the ticket system is for.

    2. The forum has rules. You would do well to read them and abide by them. If you breach the rules then a mod will let you know. Repeated breaches will get you banned. Please don't be surprised when this happens.
