Assuming you're using MAster out 1 for your .. master out, plug master out 2 to one of the spare inputs you have on the Audio 8.

Then set traktor recording options to External source and check the input you're using as source. Check your output level on the mixer and input level on Traktor to avoid clipping and there you go

you're probably missing something... is there a level knob for the master 2 output on the mixer ?

Didi you activate Input channel C with the relevant channels in the input routing preferences? before setting CHannel C as external inut in the recording prefs.?

Did you check recording gain on the recording panel on the main interface?

Did you plug in the right input (for chan C and D inputs are on the front side of the interface.)

    still need help

ok so i only have one master output knob for both on the mixer

i tried to activate input channel c and i set them to input 5 and 6 and even to 1 and 2 and 3 and 4.

i checked the recording gain and no dice.
and i certainly used the right inputs for channel c on the front.

im not sure if i am messing up here on the input settings or external settings

    still need help...any ideas?

    I have a djm-300 and a8dj too.

I have master out 2 from my mixer plugged into IN 7/8 on my a8dj,
    input routing channel D L input 7 R input 8
rec pref. source external channel D

It works for me without issue.

What OS are you using btw?

    MAC

I am running mac os 10.6 snow leopard.

I will try and re-install the drivers and see what happens.

    I hope it works.
