Recording with Kontrol S8 and external Mixer

    Hello!
    I am using Traktor 3 with Kontrol S8.
    The S8's output goes out to the soundsystem through Pioneer DJM-900NXS2 (via the Chinch Master Out).
    I would like to record my mix from the output of the external mixer to capture the actual sound including anything I do with the DJM's Filters, etc..
    I have found a similar thread using Audio 8, seemed simple enough, but I can't get it to work.
    Can anyone please walk me through the hardware connections and the settings?
    For example: can I just connect DJM's Rec Out to a Line Channel Input with Chinch? Without losing that Channel for mixing?
    And then, how do I Set the Input-, Output- and Recording Routing?
    Any help is much appreciated!
