    Hey guys,

So I have a Macbook Pro that I run Traktor Pro off of. I use the Numark Mixdeck with it. I understand that with the Mixdeck, you need an external source to run through to record a mix so that Traktor recognizes the external source. I have an RCA cable running from the "rec" outputs on my deck to the MBox. I then have the MBox plugged into my computer. I also have the Mixdeck plugged into the other USB source on my computer.

The recording settings in Traktor are set to "External" and "Channel D". When pressing record, however, I get no sound.

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Please help!

Well You need an external source , but still, Traktordoes only recognise 1 audio interface so you have 2 solutions:

Either send the "Rec Out" of teh Mixdeck to one of the Mixdecks inputs and use this input within Traktor or, if you use the MBox, you'll have to use a 3rd Party software for recording (Tape Recorder, garageband, logic, or you might even have protools-LE with your M-Box?))

thank you so much for the quick reply!

i think i'll just use pro tools to record. i'm slowly learning how to use this but it shouldn't be too impossible.

    :)
