Hey guys thanks for listening in the piece i use a few organic instrument samples some of which are drums and some are vinyls as well as instruments. What i do to get a good rich tone while keeping depth is saturate the sound without drive and EQ it pulling out the midrange tones. I tend to to do this with almost all my instruments o keep there presence in the piece. The vinyls i use are natural static vinyls from room and hall recordings this gives it a real texture and more dimension. the other thing is the trumpet of course a lot of trumpet sounds in Maschine and other softwares like FL are really bright or low quality so i sampled a live trumpet playing a simple middle C so it could bee used in many ways while still feeling more natural then a digital instrument. Overall making sure the sounds are tweaked and equalized while keeping things buried in the piece is how i try to create depth while in rhythm I focus on syncopation. Using several different high-hats and patterns for them i find it can create these bouncy Jazz like rhythms even for genres such as trap. This style of trap drum and bass is called Toronto trap and is relatively new.

    Thanks guys
