Recycle And Maschine Question/Sampling

    Does anyone use the program Recycle by propellerhead with their maschine? if so how do you like it? i would like to sample mp3's from my computer use them in maschine. and as far as my research has taking me its somewhat difficult to sample like that with maschine. What program do you guys perfer to capture samples from?

    recycle is the dog's bol*ox end of story!

    amazing kit - it not only chops loops up really well but it makes .rex files also.

    i never really sample into it though, more just load the file i want to use and convert it's tempo and slice it up.

    if you have reason you should get recycle, if you have any software that uses rex files efficiently (maschine does not use them very well) then you should get recycle.

    so far as sampling MP3 - i use sony sound forge and then convert to .wav for use elsewhere.

    don't know if any of this is helpful to you - my advice though is to get recycle in case you hadn't noticed lol.

    i use recycle to chop up wav drum breaks and use and repattern them in maschine ... works fine for me

    rex works fine for me

    it would be amazing if NI let you save stuff thats been sliced in maschine as .Rex files tho
