Reduce CPU drain from Studio Drummer, Abbey Road and Kontakt in General

    (some with silly powerful machines) I too am having crashes/freezes whilst loading SD and AR. It makes these plugins unusable.

    I, and it seems everybody else, does not seem to have this problem with ANY other plugins.

    We would all like a more RAM + CPU efficient Kontakt please.

    what setup do you use? whats your processor and ram size? im asking this because i just bought SD and wasnt aware of the cpu issues...

    Kontakt is very CPU and RAM efficient. But SD and AR are really complex libraries that demand a more powerful machine.

    There are a few things that could be dealt with in them (for example, mute/solo actually not playing any notes, currently it just mutes the busses, but still drains polyphony), though.

    I agree these application can get cpu intense.
