Hi, I have a 1.8 gig processor with an SBLive platinum audio card. I've been using Reaktor for a while and never had problems but I recently re-installed winXP and I'm now getting rediculous latency delays (it's currently at 598 ms!).

I just need a little refreshing of my memory on how to reduce the latency to an acceptable time. Thanks.

    Solving my own problems...

Ok, solved my own problem - I thought I would just post it so any one else who has this problem can know.

I switched the ASIO driver from "ASIO Multimedia Driver" to "ASIO DirectX Full Duplex Driver" and I also reduced the buffer in the ASIO control panel.

Generally, they say you should use the ASIO driver specifically designed for your A/D converter(sound card). Usually, those will have MUCH lower latency than even the DirectX drivers.
