    i've bought a digital mixer with traktor le software.

    i have to register now but this doesn't work.

    i've typed in the serial number but the help reports me to the registration tool or download center.

    what and how?

    I am having same problem. Try this - you may have to save it before opening the package - I saved as "Downloads" but you might save it to desktop or wherever,

    It is the service center download. I got only part way and then wrote to the email 'support' address and am waiting for a reply.

    same here...

    i should use the registration Tool in the application folder to register TRAKTOR LE.
    but cant find the registration tool. (yes i searched everywhere)

    anybody?

    Hey guys, same prob with the Reg.
    I've bought the Numark Omni mixer with Traktor LE software, running on Vista..
    I've been able to create an account with my Serial number, but it wont let me access the full version. The blocks come up in red and the "Activate" button is still greyed out :/
    I've played the trial for 30 mins, and eveything is working fine in regards to the mixer and software.. Ne ideas guys?

    I've had the exact same issue, any luck yet Chezza, please let me know if you get any help with this one coz it's very frustrating. I've bought the numark omni control and should be able to use it

    I've had exactly the same problem, Im still awaiting reply from the support team, I sent them screen shots yesterday!

    so annoying u pay all this money!

    keeps us mixing in a 60 mins mode :lol:

    dj issues are not dealt with like car parts. once they're back from vacation we could hear something or i'll buy the full version instead.

    My junglist mantra has become way too strong for self-violation :cool:

    But still a bovva when you buy something supposedly tech fresh for your hard-earned under-achiever money and no use for a game in weeks.
    It all feels like I have met the Microsoft mafia but that's how it is when you left playing the drums.

    My problem is the activation file that you should upload to get beamed out of the demo mode to the licensed traktor le version.

    Since only Traktor Pro allows to record your mixing - which we all need, stamp collectors! - I will save up again for that (100 quid -1).

    The 60 mins mode works fine with my drumjunglebass collection. my dubgrimestep files yearn for longer attention though.

    Let's just listen to the hour glass til the NI geezers lend us information, shantwe?

    just wanted to add me to this frustrating list:
    - bought omni control yesterday
    - when entering the serial number in the service center, the activation button keeps grey...

    Make sure to inform the NI Traktor support team about this issue. Posting in the forum is nice, but if you want to receive a new serial, defnitely send the problem to NI support

    Thought I might as well join the cue! Exactly the same as all the above (activate says greyed out!). I can't believe that in all this time nobody has had this issue resolved! (Please post if you have to give the rest of us some hope!). Awaiting my ticket response but reading this forum doesn't fill me with hope.

    Not a great first impression NI! :angry:

    From my experience with my new omni & the demo version it all looks great. I'd happily pay for the full PRO version in time.

    BUT, if they can't get this sorted with the LE version, I'll go elsewhere. There ARE other DJ software packages out there...

    I like to pay for my software so it really bugs me that the hackers don't have these problems

    I'm not to sure what you mean with in all this time? The thread has been started 28 days ago... There has probably been a mistake when giving out serials to the manufacturers. Theyve shipped these serials with their products and they are now on the shelves... until they are all sold out and being replaced with proper serials.

    SOLUTION!

    I called NI Support:
    Numark is creating the Serial Numbers for the Traktor Versions they distribute.
    Don´t know how, but somehow they created a lot of wrong numbers...
    NI told me to contact Numark.

    On numark.com, there´s a support area with a contact form.
    I called the Supporter in Germany (phone number under Company/Contact Numark).
    They also knew that there´s something wrong...
    So they sent me a form which I had to fill (with the serial numbers of the omni control and traktor), they created a new serial No and send it...

    Now it works!

    So it was Numark´s problem, not NI´s...

    It´s annoying when you buy a new toy and can´t play with it, but finally it was o.k.: the support (NI and Numark) was fast and easy.

    NI told me to contact Numark to get a new serial number. I did this over a week ago and still no reply! useless! Its taken almost a month and still nothing.

    And also a reply to Kloseline, yes this thread was started 28 days ago but if you look at other forum threads its been on going for a lot longer than this.

    Native Instruments need to take a close look at themselves rather than trying to bump blame onto numark. I really can't see how numark can realistically be responsible for issuing serial numbers for NI's software.

    In any case, true or false, it is really irrelevant

    It doesn't matter who's fault it is, nobody in their right mind is going to fork out for the full pro version if they've got no confidence that NI can't sort their LE issues out.

    This is ony costing NI business (numark have already got their money!) so NI should proactively be trying to sort it out. I'm not going to be able to pay the upgrade fee until LE is working and I am certainly not about to fork out for a completely new seperate license!

    I've raised a ticket (still no response) and this is NI's forum. There are enough posts on this now for them to be aware of the issue and to at least post a sticky with the answer.

    I am having the exact same problem. I recently purchased a Numark Omni Control. I am installing Traktor LE on Mac OS X 10.5.8. The system identifies the device as being present, but the Service Center is incorrectly identifying my fresh installation of Traktor LE 1.1.1.001 as "Traktor DJ Studio 2.0". Because of this when I go to input the serial number found on the back of the disc holder, it claims that it is an invalid serial number.

    So I am stuck in limbo with a $300 paper weight which I cannot use with software I paid for legitimately. This is so infuriating. I am being punished for having done the right thing and paid for this.

    Ironically I could download a torrent of a cracked version of Traktor Scratch Pro (their premium product) and have this working within minutes, but that kind of defeats the purpose of PAYING MY HARD EARNED MONEY to support this company and their products.

    When are companies going to learn that making your LEGITIMATE customers jump through hoops is just hurting them in the long run? I contacted support five days ago, still no response. This is customer service is it?

    Not a good first impression.

    As stated above, you have to contact Numark. They will supply you with the right serial number. Native Instruments can not give you the right serial.
