    In either case this is a horrible experience for a first time customer. I have contacted both NI and Numark support and have yet to hear anything. Pretty weak.

    Having NI and Numark point the finger at each other doesn't not solve my problem and definitely doesn't make me want to purchase either company again in the future. Not including whether or not I am going to keep them now.

    Yep, same thing happened to me; the activation code that came with my copy of Traktor LE was hosed in one way or another. I ended up having to wait a couple days in order to get a response from Numark, but a few emails got the job done.

    It's not a good things when a software company resorts to using anti-piracy measures and only ends up harming their paying customers...

    Hey guys, I've contacted Numark directly and they are sending me an email with a form to fill in so that they can release me a new activation code. Fingers crossed. I will update this when I know more x

    I've had no response from Numark and I contacted them 2 weeks ago. I still don't get how uninterested NI are in helping out with this. It's costing them money in the long run.

    Needless to say, I've got bored of waiting and I'm quite happily mixing with different software. I suggest others do the same as NI are a bunch of useless (fill as appropriate).

    I had the same problem, and was told to contact numark. They sent out a form to request a new serial number, I filled this out and e-mailed it back to numark and they e-mailed it on to Native Instruments. Then numark contacted me with a new serial number. I'm happy to say this serial number worked and I'm now using traktor. The number for numark can be found on there website.

    Hi guys, happy to say my Omni controller is now working. It was to do with a wrong batch of serial numbers given out with the units. I?t was a prob of Numark and not NI.
    Contacted Numark who then emailed me a change of serial number request form which is eay to fill in, (just asks you the usual ID and then proof of purchase), then shizzam you get an email back with (fingers crossed) a serial number that actually works!
    And now the fun can begin :D
    But fair play, they could have written a thread on here or on the forum website to let customers know about this problem.
