has anyone experienced, or can NI staff reading this tell me, why when i go through the registration tool/web registration process the system says, upon verifying my user data (name and other registrations, namely traktor 2.6) that my system ID is not valid? It is the same system ID I used to sucessfully register 2.6... I have tried the suggestion of uninstalling and reinstalling Traktor 3.0 a few times... same problem... and why would that somehow make my system ID different in the eyes of the NI registration system? I have'nt gotten much support from NI tech support, suggestion i uninstall and reinstall... thats it...

    thanks for any advice

specifically here is the message fro the NI system:

    "Irregular System ID
The system ID you are using is invalid. In order to prevent software abuse, your user data, IP number as well as other available session data have been sent to the NI webmaster. This data will not be saved indefinitely but will be verified."

Have you tried filling out the online registration support form? This should be done as soon as possible so as to get the ball rolling in case we can't figure out what the problem is.

I will admit that I have had this issue with other NI software, and believe that it is caused by installing any version specific updates before authorizing the initial version. In other words, you should have installed the version on the CD, then registered/authorized T3, and then install the 3.0.1 update. As I said, this is what I *think* causes the problem.

I believe you cannot get 3.0.1 unless you are a registered user of 3.0
