reinstalling without re-downloading (2021)

I have my 800+GB Komplete Ultimate library on an SSD and would like to get it running on my new computer without having to re-download everything

Are there updated instructions for how to do this in 2021/2022? I have tried the previous method of using Kontakt 5.5.6 but NI's download link is dead and the video instructions for this on YouTube have comments disabled (thanks NI).

 

If you still have access to the old computer, you could do some registry magic (you didn't say if you're Mac or Win tho).

I'm on a Mac. I mean all I need to do is install the software and point it at the content directory. NI no longer supports this? How does it work when you buy a bundle that comes with content pre-loaded on a hard drive? Is it literally just a hard drive full of installer packages?

 

Oh Native Access will recognize the Komplete hard drive and use it to install things.

I see. Well, thanks for the info! I'm not exactly sure what to do here though. I have a 1.2TB data cap from my ISP and I need to save most of this for work. Having to re-download 800GB would take me a couple months.
