Hi ... I mapped an Omnisphere sound to my liking .... now can someone explain to me how to save the mapping of this sound to put it on all the presets of the same vst? they are on Maschine software on MK3 hardware

 

Not really possible to update existing presets with a new mapping. Omnisphere adds an additional layer of impossibility for the fact you MUST activate Host Automation for parameters you want to use then save the preset. If you create a new preset and add additional host automation controls these would not be enabled on past presets. Omnisphere is probably the most complicated plugin to manage presets for and the last complication is in my library, I have different templates for the original presets which were only 2 parts, another layout for the newer "Hardware Library" presets which are 4 layer and another preset layout for multis so you kind of need to come up with 3 different presets to address these different kinds of presets

This took a while to process due to the number of expansions and the need to pick through and tag things mostly by hand but all currently available M-Tron Pro expansions are now NKS ready in a single "Complete Bundle"

The complete bundle contains the following NKS libraries which will add a bank for each expansion in your existing M-Tron Pro instrument in your NKS browser (with additional banks for the "Artist" patches)

UVI Falcon 2.5 Update


An update is available for the UVI Factory Library to add the new presets released in the latest 2.5 update. Just get the latest library, delete the existing factory NKS library for falcon and copy the latest one in place. No need to update image/database files. Rescan your NKS library and the new presets will be found as a new bank called Factory > 2.5

Omnisphere Sonic Extensions: Coming Soon
I have received a number of inquiries about these new expansions and yes, these will be available but it is a huge amount of work. Every single preset has completely different macro controls and not even the control IDs remain the same so there is simply no way to automate this process, I have to save these 1 by 1 and map every control each time. Very time consuming and I have even spoken with Spectrasonics about this because it affects anyone wishing to map the controls.

I hope to have maybe 2 of these available by the end of the month but could take longer and it will very much depend on how popular these are if I invest further time in any other expansions they release because it's one of the most painful libraries I have ever processed, along side Keyscape.

Well, I just wanted to tell you, first of all, thank you for everything you have done for the blind producer community, without you we would not have been able to use plugins like the korg or collection nexus! We really appreciate it!
And second. I don't know if this is possible, but, I don't know if you found out that there is a new expansion for m-tron pro from g-forse software, called "alex ball artist expansion". In case you didn't know, here is the video link:

I do not know if it is possible for you to convert this expansion to the nks format for all of us, both blind and sighted people. If it is not possible for you to do it, we understand you perfectly, surely you are busy with other more important things!

Well "Anything's possible" and for M-Tron Pro, I have the scripting done so expansions are always possible. However it has not proven so far to be all that popular so far, I really only have a handful of users that have it and without the interest it's difficult to invest money, time and effort.

I personally have little need for Mtron Pro myself, it was purchased on a sale because I had a few inquiries and as it goes it's always a challenge to decide if something will be popular enough to pay for itself and given the cost and the time to make it, so far it hasn't yet covered the cost especially since a lot of time went into labelling the presets.

I have the new expansion on my list to consider, but it is rather low on the list until I see enough interest in the current library, basically if things don't have enough interest they lose priority so if you happen to know anyone that can help boost the interest in Mtron I will happily look at this new expansion.

Ah, yes I changed the filename to remove the plus character and replace it with the word "plus" as it caused some issues with some code managing downloads. This is now fixed.

 

oh, another thing (sorry for bombarding you with messages)
i want to try the korg collection 3 nks library. I'm interested in buying it.
But, I have a problem. wen I try to download the demo to test, it redirects me to the older korg legacy instead of the new korg collection, I don't know if you understand me. Is this normal?

Does this preset-display issue affect blind users wen using the voice asistant? i'm reffering to the issue you listed in the korg page (wavestation, ms20 not displaying the correct preset name)

Yes it is normal because there is no actual difference, the files are trhe same files so I didn't update the free download as it is not needed. The only thing now is the Korg Collection 3 now includes all the plugins where the older legacy did not include Triton or the latest ones but these all work in the same way, you get them when you get the full library.

No the issue with Polysix and MS20 (not wavestation, that is a separate stability issue thing that affects wavestation itself, not the NKS the latest V2 plugins are not as reliable as the older V1 plugins) is when you load the preset the plugin displays the wrong name but the actual preset sound is correct. this does not affect voice assistance at all it is just a visual display bug and it is an issue with the plugins as it also happens if you use these outside KK just in a project and the preset library changes, every preset now displays incorrect names for every track you created.

Korg are aware of this issue but honestly, they are the most useless team I have dealt with as it takes them 1-2 months to even bother to reply and the last reply I had a month ago said they fixed this issue and a 2.2.1 update was available but STILL the latest version showing on their site is 2.2.0 and 3 emails have not gained an answer so I give up with them.
