Not sure, never heard of it. Is it the software that comes with the pedal? I don't have that device nor is it something I would probably get.

    LuSH-101
Fully NKS with a separate controller template for the multi-layer and single layer presets. Multi-layer presets have volume, pan, filter & global effects for all 8 layers with additional detailed mappings for layers 1-4 (Osc, Mix, Env, LFO) and single layer presets (Timbre) have a full mapping covering all controls including insert FX.

Please Note: I found that when you save a preset it saves the GUI size of the plugin which I use the large GUI. I have had a look and it can easily be changed within the NKS files so if you prefer the small GUI just let me know. I will release an update if there is enough interest that will include files for both large/small gui which you can then choose which you want to install.

    PunchBox
All presets mapped and tagged with banks created for each of the sound "Modes" and additional tagging done under "Genre" for the different sound types. All controls mapped and labelled over 13 pages.

Both releases include the usual artwork/database files and sound previews and will work with the latest plugin versions, 64bit, Mac/Pc compatible.

Initial Audio Heat Up 3 is now available for NKS. Big thanks to the guys at Initial Audio for working with me on this one.

I was initially developing NKS for Heat Up 2 and just as I was 3/4 of the way through I checked for updates (as I do) and noted v3 was just released which as I discovered was a complete rewrite of the plugin and v2 presets were not compatible with v3 or upgradable so it was required to develop a new script and start again. Luckily this was discovered before I spent a few days hand tagging the sounds.

So please note this works with the latest v3 of Heat Up and is not compatible with v2. Since the update to v3 is free you will need to download the update (and figure out their cryptic updates and patches to the libraries). All expansions are also available

    New libraries available
    [IMG]

Air Music Technologies BOOM is now NKS ready. All kits have been saved to NKS with full control over each layer in each kit. Ideally lightguide would be great for this one but unfortunately not possible to implement at a user level. However, this NKS library adds the ability to browse, load and get going with each kit immediately.

Air Music Technologies Vacuum Classic is the monophonic version of Vacuum Pro which we have had available for NKS for some time. If you own the Vacuum Classic version you can now get NKS library files for it. All sounds have detailed tagging and the usual controller templates, sound previews and artwork.

UVI Grand Piano Collection is now also NKS compatible with all models having a separate bank entry and each preset contains full controller maps. This NKS library will work with either Falcon or the free UVI Workstation with libraries for both plugins supplied, just download and install the one of interest.

UVI World Suite is now also NKS compatible. This was quite a challenge as every preset and instrument in the collection has a different controller mapping so a lot of manual time was needed to develop templates for each instrument. Banks have been created for the different instrument regions and all instruments have detailed tagging available. A library version for both Falcon and Workstation are available.

    UPDATES AVAILABLE

There are updates available for all libraries that are optional to address a couple of issues. This update will bring all NKS libraries to v2.5.2. You can check your version of NKS library by looking in the tag Edit section at the Properties tab.

NOTE: You will need to delete your existing NKS folders first as the paths have changed to group files by vendor folders. This was required on my end for automation needs. This will also affect favourites so it is recommended to note down the favourites you have before updating each plugin.

    Sound Preview Click Issue
The main reason for the update is since v2.1 of Komplete Kontrol the preview player seems to have now caused some samples to play a loud click at the end. This was never an issue previously but it appears the ogg encoder I use in Wavelab is creating this issue only when used with the preview player so I have decided to re-encode the sound files using a new encoder which now eliminates this issue.

Sound Previews Much Smaller in Size
The new encoder (FFMPEG) is able to much more efficiently create sound previews at a smaller size, approx 40% smaller with no loss in quality. Libraries are now much smaller and require about 30-50% less space on your HDD

Arp / Sequence / Drum Pattern Previews now all 2 Bars
There may be some that have been overlooked but previously most previews were just 1 bar long which ment arp patterns would be quite short to get a good idea of the sound. Now that file sizes have been significantly reduced I have decided to make these sound previews 2 patterns long. If I have overlooked any plugins just let me know.

Grouped Plugins in Folders By Vendor
This was required on my end to automate the creation of library creation and the zip files. All libraries now have the plugin folders placed within a vendor folder which helps to tidy up the User Library folder. There is something to be aware of. This will affect any of your favourites as the paths to the NKS files will change. If you have favourites tagged then I would recommend making some time BEFORE updating to note down the favourites so you can easily update them. Other option is to unzip the files first then copy them to the existing folder you have

    Various Tag / Library Fixes
There have been a few fixes and updates to tagging over a number of libraries as well as fixing some issues with files that I have noted or that has been fed back. As always if you find any issues let me know and I will try and have it updated.

    Analog 4 Update
    [IMG]

The Analog Lab 3 library has now been updated to Analog Lab 4. This adds more presets to the library and also new database and image files to compensate for the name change. Note this should also still work with AL3 tho the new instrument presets may not work. I only own V collection 5 with no plans to update any time soon unless there is significant demand so the newer presets are limited to what is offered to V5 customers but additional free expansions have also been added and the preset count is now over 7000. Update is free.

You can download your updates here:

Yes because Maschine works with both AU or (now) VST3. AU does not work with NKS (not in Komplete anyway) and back when that comment was made Maschine did not support VST3. This was the main reason I was unable to consider these as options for NKS at the time. I own a Maschine Studio but I don't use Maschine at all so as soon as Komplete Kontrol gets VST3 support i'll take another look at things like Steinberg and Roland which currently don't work in KK on Mac

Yeah I can see Au’s and such in Mashcine... Soooo i’m stuck with loading maschine software instances on each track to use NKS..in my template - though im putting all that in track inside of Vienna Ens Pro host .. to take the load off my daw. Its a bit clumsy but till KK gets its act together least “most” of my plugins are scene in NKS that way. NOW if maschine instances would number themselves.. so i don’t have to setup the template by saving each instance as Track1 Track2 etc. Would be nice.. useful when swapping instances in the template. For changing mapped parameters and browsing for each track preset when setting up my sound pallet. BTW I’m a nearsighted low vision person too so I get that complexity is annoying.. but i’m also a 25 long years of IT support person and workflow is king..

Updating this thread as requested for Maschine users who don't travel into the Komplete area. I'm not a Maschine user really so kind of forget about this thread and it looks quite outdated. To stay updated be sure to follow the main thread on the Komplete Kontrol forum here

    https://www.native-instruments.com/...reset-libraries-for-komplete-maschine.313687/

Just click images to find out more... Here is what has been released since the last update.
All libraries have detailed controller maps, sound previews, image/database files, banks (where applicable) and a lot of detailed attribute tagging conforming to NKS 1.5 standards (mostly)

    Initial Audio Sektor
    [IMG]

I have been working with Initial Audio to develop NKS for their instruments and Sektor has just been released. Expansions will soon follow.

All preset files have detailed sound tagging for NKS 1.5 and the library includes both the Factory and Signature expansions as included with sektor. A detailed controller map covers almost all controls including Layer 1 effects.

    UVI Key Suite Acoustic
    [IMG]

Each model has an individual bank and each preset has custom mapped controls since every model and preset is different.

    Tone2 Plugins
    [IMG]

Each plugin has all factory presets, sound previews and detailed hand tagging. I also have Saurus but have discovered it is not possible to save presets in Komplete Kontrol for this plugin. NI are aware of this issue due to the plugin using an old format for the preset data so if a fix is ever released I will have a look.

    UVI Orchestral Suite
    [IMG]

Fully mapped controls for each instrument (which differs from instrument to instrument) and includes a library for both Falcon and Workstation so you can choose which plugin you would like it to load in.

    Air Music Technologies Transfuser
    [IMG]
Transfuser is really designed for building presets using the provided loops and patterns which made it a hard choice to make in NKS. That coupled with the slightly complex way it requires each sound to be dragged into load it meant it was a bit more challenging to create NKS presets for and I personally don't use it but there are some really good loops and sounds in there and I have been asked often if it will be developed and it is now available Here.

This library has over 6000 NKS files for loops, beats and sounds all broken into the individual folder banks of Transfuser. There is only limited automation available in Transfuser but this has all been mapped out and of course the library includes sound previews.

    Izotope Iris 2
    [IMG]

All factory presets in NKS fully tagged, sound previews and each preset has custom macros which are labelled in Komplete Kontrol after the custom labels in Iris (so each preset is different). Iris is really aimed at sound designers to use layers to create instruments which isn't possible from the keyboard but it opens up the presets for browsing at least.

    Spectrasonics Stylus RMX
    [IMG]
Starting off with Spectrasonics Stylus RMX Expanded, this has been heavily requested over the years but I have not really been interested in investing in this one until recently where one of my music suppliers had it on a good special.

This covers all Suites, Multis and Kits and expansions in the "Expanded" collection, all sorted neatly into Banks. A detailed controller map covers most of the common controls that would be needed to fine tune the sounds.

    A few things to note:
Multis will be a little problematic for the simple fact that Komplete Kontrol works only on Channel 1 so you need a DAW to access the other channels. All kits and Suites work just fine.

You may see a number of duplicate presets due to the fact some presets appear in multiple categories

Tagging has been done based on categories and a few key words but more detailed tagging will be done at a later stage.

    VI Labs Ravenscroft
    [IMG]

VI Labs Ravenscroft NKS library for both Workstation and Falcon provides a complete controller map for presets to allow full control over the piano from the hardware.

    Digital Suburban Dexed
    [IMG]

Dexed is modeled off the Yamaha DX7 and comes provided with a bunch of rom collections which have all been converted to NKS and include sound previews. Detailed full controller map provided and.

    Soundtoys 5 FX
    [IMG]

I'm not a user of the FX feature of Komplete Kontrol or a user of Maschine but I get asked quite a bit for FX libraries so since I have Soundtoys 5 I thought i'd start there...

Full bundle of all 21 effects is available as well as individual NKS for each effect for those that do not have the full bundle. Took quite some time to create due to the number of images and database files that needed to be created but should offer the same preset browsing structure as the plugins themselves with banks for each preset section and all tagged and categorised in the browser.

Bundle version also includes the Effect Rack but at this stage I have not mapped each different racks parameters as this requires manual work to lay out pages correctly and a lot of additional time

    UVI Sweep Machine
    [IMG]
UVI Sweep Machine NKS library with both Falcon and Workstation support.

    D16 Phoscyon
    [IMG]

D16 Phoscyon Acid Bassline is now available for NKS.

This includes all presets duplicated and saved into 2 different banks for internally sequenced and non sequenced versions depending if you like to use the internal sequencer or play the notes via midi.

    Soundspot Union
    [IMG]
    Kilohearts KhS One
    [IMG]

    WA Production Babylon
    [IMG]
    Sonivox Singles
    [IMG]

Sonivox Singles VSTs are now available as either individual libraries or the entire collection. Artwork, previews, database files and complete controller map all inclusive

GForce Imposcar is now also NKS compatible with a fully detailed controller map, previews and artwork along with detailed tagging completed by hand. 1400 presets available in this library and a very good synth for use with Komplete Kontrol (aftertouch!!!)

    XLN Audio Addictive Drums 2
    [IMG]
NKS support for all kits that allows mixer control and adjustment over mics, pitch and filters of each kit element. Drum pattern previews for every kit.

    XLN Audio XO
    [IMG]

XO is really designed for use with a mouse but it is quite usable with NKS.

NKS library includes all presets currently in XO in NKS format. Each preset has been labelled with the original BPM on the end of the name to help with browsing for sounds, the "Playlists" have been made into banks (but be aware some presets exist in multiple playlists but can only exist in a single bank) and sound previews have been rendered directly out of XO at the original BPM instead of the common 120 BPM.

Full control over each of the 8 element slots is offered allowing level, pan, tone, pitch, stereo effect, sends, and filter for each element to be controlled.

    Korg Triton
    [IMG]
    https://freelancesoundlabs.com/nks/triton

    What an exhausting plugin :)

This is now NKS compatible with all the usual bells and whistles.

Tagging was initially converted from the internal Triton tagging to NKS but I found the choice of limited tagging was far too limited in scope so I have spent a few days running it through my manual tagging process and tagged almost every sound with a decent amount of detail.

All of the internal factory and expansion banks have been created as NKS banks and separated into Program and Combi libraries.

Note that the Combi presets have just very basic mappings due to the fact there are 8 layers and 2 oscs per layer so mapping things like Amp ADSR for instance would need 16 pages on its own so for something like Triton which is just a sampler really I don't feel it is worth the trouble. The program layers are fully mapped tho.

    UVI Vintage Vault 3
    [IMG]

Vintage Vault 3 NKS Library is now available and includes over 10,000 presets

For users who already own the Vintage Vault 2 NKS library you can get an upgrade to the V3 library by logging into your account and visiting the Vintage Vault 3 page.

Vintage Vault 3 takes everything in version 2 and adds the following new library content:
    - FM Suite
    - JP Legacy
    - PX P10
    - PX V8
    - String Machines 2
    - USQ-1
    - UVX670

This is an additional 3500 presets that have all been designed with full custom controller maps, sound previews and detailed tagging (that took a week to fully complete). Each of the above libraries will appear as a new instrument in your browser with all included instruments available as banks.

There are separate Falcon and Workstation libraries and the option to download either the full library including all Vintage Vault 2 + 3 content, or just the updated content for V3 to save on the download time. You can of course access your downloads again at any time in the future if you need.

I am sure there will be some issues somewhere in there so if you notice anything then just contact me and I will try and have it fixed asap.

    Check it out here:

JesterMgee i wish you made your stuff more user friendly.. i bought the omnisphere/keyscape and it worked great but it’s a pain to install and a pain to update.. seems like the process is straightforward enough that you’ll could make a native access style installer/updater..

how is it a pain to unzip then paste in a folder? I have blind users able to manage it without issue.

if you could at least advise where you get stuck and what OS?

do you know how to make a download manager tied into a website database that will run on pc and mac and will be reliable/secure? Because I don’t. I can easily make an installer for pc (and may) but not mac, just too hard to work with that stuff on mac.

If I recall you had to delete 2 specific folders per set (when updating) and paste 2 specific folders in those locations, both deep in maschine files.I'm lazy and that makes me not want to bother when new updates come out.

I was in Windows, now in macOS but haven't done it there yet. Installer would be plenty good enough.

It's just something I don't have to do with other software. It's also very easy to mess it up actually - any time where you're supposed to remove the previous version manually first.

And I meant it was straightforward in that the steps could be automated.

Also, it's just my opinion, insulting someone who bought it (and recommended it to others) isn't great. My job is software dev, I'm not an idiot with computers and allowed to have an opinion about ease of use.

Not sure how I insulted you unless you took undue offence to the literal statement that I have hundreds of blind users of Komplete Kontrol who do manage to do it fine. I am sometimes amazed at how they manage but I get zero complaints from these guys, occasional questions but more gratitude than anything... This is kind of why I don't post in the Maschine forum TBH.

I'm not a big company who can devote time to develop tools like you use with other software. I am a single person and if you work in software dev then you would know exactly how much work would already be involved in maintaining over 600 NKS libraries, answering emails/posts/inquiries daily, maintaining a website and designing new scripts etc. I wish I had some time to be lazy.

The only thing you ever need to do when updating any NKS library is to simply delete the existing NKS files and copy the new ones. That is it. In fact you really don't need to do that, just overwrite or paste a new but as a general rule, it's best to delete and recopy and I am sure someone with dev experience can manage that? If I created an installer for Windows I would actually create more questions from Mac users which is simply not worth the hassle IMO.

The folder you refer to that is buried "deep" (3 folders deep...) is just the NI Resources image/database files which is a simple 1 time copy and paste affair, no need to delete these ever. I even include detailed instructions and a link to that location and for users that don't like to read, I created BOTH a Mac and Windows video on the matter.

I get what you are saying, an installer would be good, but from my point of view as someone who invests thousands of hours myself, what would also be great is if people just put in a tiny bit of effort themselves. Laziness isn't something I can code a solution for really :)

Sorry, you're selling a product and saying because you're only one person, nobody is allowed to say anything that isn't gushing..?

I didn't mean to hijack your own thread, I think that was a bad idea on my part to post it here, but really all you needed to do was say something like 'i may do something like that in the future, not sure' and move on.

I don't get a lot of time these days to make music - i try to keep my fooling around with software updates to a minimum.. i appreciate installers that make it painless, and saying I use your product but wish it had one.

    Chill out.

Never said you couldn't make your point, have even acknowledged your point so not sure why you think i'm trying to hassle you. You made the initial post and stated part of the issue in your case is you are lazy. I'm also entitled to my own opinion about having to cater to the lazy with the minimal time I have as is.

No direct animosity is being sent your way and I do acknowledge your observation, but still point out the amount of work required to make an installer (that would probably also need to handle uninstallation, cleanup and the fact people like to move things around manually sometimes) is more complex that you seem to give credit for... And if I distribute an executable that causes some kind of problem, or even if a user has an issue that is completely unrelated, I may then have to support that too, it adds complexity to an otherwise simple task.

If I can make an installer I will but I can almost guarantee it will be a Windows only thing.
