[Release] Omnisphere 2 Preset Browser for Komplete Kontrol \ Maschine

PLEASE HELP! i did all the instructions, but when i go to open a sound, it Says "PLUG IN NOT FOUND! i installed the library for omnisphere on a different hard drive, but its connected to my computer. Can anyone please help me link it so when i click on the sounds they work? thanks!

 

Is Omnisphere 2 loading normally in KK from the plugins menu? Is it uptodate?

 

i don't see it available in KK as a plug in

 

Yeah you would have to rectify that part first.

What OS are you on?
Do you have Omnisphere 2 installed as a 64bit VST?
Have you added your VST plugin path to KK?
Do you have any other VSTs picked up by KK?
Are you running the latest version 1.5 of KK (do you see a "plugins menu"?)

Follow the instructions from NI on adding 3rd party plugins. Once you have the plugin accessible within KK from the menu you should now be able to load the preset files.

i don't know if i have omnisphere installed 64 bit.......
I've added the path, but I'm only getting N.I. plugin's in KK.

highly annoyed as id love to use omnisphere with KK, or machine with the patch presets

 

Unfortunately you need to do some work on your end to help, we cant help you confirm if you have it installed correct.

What we can tell you is if you do not see Omnisphere in the plugins menu of KK then Komplete Kontrol does not recognise Omnisphere as being installed so nothing will work until it does. The reasons will be one of the following:

- Omnisphere is not installed
- Omnisphere plugin path is not added to KK
- Omnisphere is installed as an AU plugin, not VST
- The 32bit version is installed instead of 64bit.

Should be easy enough to reinstall and choose to install the 64bit VST from the original disk and I am sure you don't need to reinstall the steam library either.

 

OK then it should have been obvious that first you need to have it installed correctly and scanned in as a plugin, this has nothing to do with these patches.

And it needs to be Omnisphere 2, not just Omnisphere.

 

Hey hey ~ I see Kontakt 1.6 is now out. Am getting Omnisphere 2 delivered tonight, anyone know if things are good in 1.6 with this?

 

Well since it was announced just a few moments before the post, no idea, was fast asleep but I see nothing at all that would suggest it doesn't work. Will be able to update and let you know soon when I decide to upgrade.

Yes. I get the message Could not load plug-in (plug in not found). I have erased the database, rescanned - I see the Omnisphere browser but can't load.

 

What is your OS?
What version of komplete kontrol are you using?
What version of Omnisphere do you have installed?

When you say "I can see the Omnisphere browser but can't load" what does this mean?

If Omnisphere 2 is installed and you can open it from the plugin menu then the preset shortcuts should work as they simply call the plugin.

 

Hi, I've tried to register 3 times and get

And yet all asterisked fields are filled

 

Yeah looks like another Joomla issue. The registration page isn't displaying the Captcha again, will have to fix. I'll report back when it's fixed

 

Damn that K2 plugin!!!

Should be fixed. The login page was replaced with the K2 user login page after an update to the plugin yesterday (which is way more complex than i'd like for users) so it's back to the simple registration page again. Let me know if it's still an issue.

 

Hey, just picked up OS2 and found this thread. Wanted to donate and pick up the Push 2 and KK preset browsers. Unfortunately your site is down. I'll check back tomorrow.
