1. We're currently conducting systematic tests with the release version of macOS 11 (Big Sur) in order to offer full compatibility of our products as soon as possible. You can find our latest compatibility status - here

Please note that although announced at the same time as macOS Big Sur, Apple Silicon processors are an independent release with separate compatibility concerns for NI products. Compatibility with macOS Big Sur will not yet ensure compatibility with Apple Silicon processors. At the moment, Native Instruments products are not supported on computers with Apple Silicon processors. Read more - here

250 for the screens , 100 for the light guide, and 50 for the touchstrip
You get the extra buttons free .

Very interesting keyboards. It's not mentioned anywhere, so, i take it that the keyboards have no Aftertouch?

It appears that S-series is optimized for standalone and the A-series is optimized for use with a computer screen.

I wonder, if there are any limitations in terms of DAW/Maschine integration compared to the S-Series. Any info on this?

They’d be crazy to have no aftertouch. NI aren’t crazy, right?

Dimensions are further down on the page with the title "Pre-order soon".
    25 keys: 488 x 257 x 89 mm
    49 keys: 820 x 257 x 89 mm
    61 keys: 984 x 257 x 89 mm

I didn't realize there is actually a little screen included. You can search for sounds from the screen interface and also displays parameter values when you turn a knob.

It's entry level keyboards. And, as long as they don't explicitly state that the keyboard has aftertouch, i will assume that it has no aftertouch. Not a deal breaker for me, but, would have been nice to have, of course.

That's probably too much to expect at that price for an entry level controller. But it's nice for the price and a lot of people don't use/need aftertouch so at least there's a tiered option now.

Why did they have to leave the guide out? I just don't understand leaving out such a major feature of the KK keyboard since the start. It's not like the technology isn't there, or that LED's are expensive. The Mk1 and Mk2 light guides already kind of appeal to entry level, at least in some regard, so taking that out just seems like's gonna hurt more than it helps.

Yeah, guess they have to cut down on features. Personally, i can live well without LED's. The display could be a bit bigger though.
