Hi everybody, I'm an owner of the reloop digital jockey 2 (IE) but I noticed that a touch sensitive jogwheel (or anyway those that come with the rdj, and the way they're mapped) doesn't really behave like I thought they would

when I grab it in scratch function, the track stops, and I can scratch the track, but when I release it again, the track doesn't just go back to play mode, untill the jogwheel actually stopped moving, where I expected (and want) it to go back to play the moment you release it
is this a normal behaviour in traktor, does the vci 100 for instance do this too?

now, it's mapped so that the platter sends a hold signal to scratch on
after trying a lot, I concluded that it's not the note off signal of the touch sensitive platter that's too late and only comes after it stopped (by assigning a led to the scratch on) but the problem is that when its released, the scratch function stops but the track keeps on scratching untill the jog stops

Is there a way to map this that this is 'fixed', maybe with a modifier or something?

    Hey DJPC
I'm looking to purchase just this product! I too like to scratch and cannot for the life of me find any useful jog wheel reviews.
Did you manage to sort the problem? I understand that Reloop did release a firmware fix for the DJ2IE (search YouTube), have you done that?
I'd be VERY interested in how you got one so I know whether to sell my CDJ's or hold onto em!

Actually, what I was talking about was a traktor problem, and can be fixed (that is, if you don't like the scratch behaviour) by mapping a simple play button to the jog when you press it, you have to map it as 'hold', and check invert.
However, those jogs really aren't meant to scratch, and they're not compatible to cdjs, IMO.
I'd say, go and test them while they're connected to a computer and see if you like it!

Ps:I got like 25 emails for notifiing that somebody replied to this post, bug?

Thanks very much for your input. I think i'll do just that!
With regards to the 25 emails, sounds like an inter-server problem.

    :-D
