I followed the instructions for changing the 'contromap.txt' file, but the Pro-52 keeps on using the original CC's anyway. (as a VST in Cubase) There's no error messages on launching the plugin.

Has anyone been successfull at making this work? I don't have a clue why it's not working for me.

    Thanks,
    Norb

Worked for me in stand-alone mode, but not under Cubase VST 5.0r2 on a Mac. Emailed NI tech support but haven't heard back.

Maybe NI and Steinberg use the same support people. A week ago, I sent an e-mail to Steiney, asking them a question that had to do with me sending them hundreds of dollars toward a purchase. They haven't replied, so I guess that they are so filthy rich, that them getting my few hundred bucks doesn't mean jack sh** to them. So from now on, ALL of my few hundred bucks is going somwhere else. (that translates into *thousands* of dollars a year) If I find out that NI has the same lack of response, I won't buy anything of theirs anymore, either.

sorry if you did not get replies to your support emails. Since we have opened a new office in Los Angeles there were a lot of trouble regarding email traffic. We now have two email addresses for support:

    support@native-instruments.de (for international support)
    support@native-instruments.com (for USA and Canada)

We generally reply to every email sent to support (I can definitely say that for the support@native-instruments.de address but I am sure that also our US collegues try to do this as well). If you have not received an answer from us there might be a technical problem (in the moment we have a major problem sending emails to freenet addresses for instance). We also have a phone number where you can reach us in the daytime.

Pro-52 support is generally done by Steinberg by the way, but we also reply to Pro-52 queries.

    Best regards
    Marius Wilhelmi (NI)

I heard back from NI - seems to be a bug with cc remapping.

As far as NI customer support, the only other time i've emailed them I heard back with an answer that fixed my problem within 24 hours.

OK. I hope the situation gets better for you. The one e-mail I tried to send was refused from you (N.I.) saying somthing about you not accepting "redirected e-mail". The thing is, it was being sent direct from my personal e-mail account with *my* ISP.

    Hello,

I found that it maybe a problem to determine which ControlMap.txt is used by PRO-52 if there are several loacted on your disc.

Please make sure to have just one such file on your discs to know which one is the current. Thus you will find the VST and standalone to work with this ControlMap. However - make sure you are using PRO-52 VST V 2.5!
