Remapping the D2?

I take it the D2 (like the S8) can't be remapped at this point in time?

 

Not at the current time. 'Some' remapping is planned - I have no further information on this.

..i m mean they should, the d2 is a very comprehensive machinery, BUT far from finished. Im using it for a feweweeks now and Too my taste, they didnt think well about feature implementation in the current version: In general the concept of the D2 for single controller use is amazing, but it misses the simplicty of fast switching, and thought thru functioning of the hardware elements

- not using the centre dent knobs on top for filter, but for Fx. which are doubled in the 360 rotary's.
- no internal midi for the midi assignable rotarys (the 360's)
- no short cuts to get to the 360s functions
- no stops of the remixdecks clips, pushing an empty slot, but with shift clip
- the A/C , B/d Configuration and switching
- custom mapping (if the F1 can so should the D2)

To give the D2 its full potential they should mos def ad it, we are awaiting off course theSTEMs feature, maybye by then the D2 makes sense )
