The remix deck quatisation for loops captured via F1 are really hard to get correctly timed as the remix deck’s beat counter seems to have a life on its own. There’s a workaround to reset it via midi mapping, but… would be much better if it took the phasing (1st beat = 1st beat of origin running as master) when it’s forced to sync.

The main issue is that the remex deck, once started, keeps to its own phasing, regardless / not in sync with the master deck, regardless of the quantisation, in essence it starts its phase whenever its beat counter is back to xxx.1 and that may or may not coincide with the first phase of the main/master beat you just captured it from, making it very hard to get the captured loop playing exactly at the same time.

I'd love to be able to use the F1 and create instance remix decks with its handy current loop capture button, however currentl the "start" of the remix set, however forced to the right BPN phrasing wise needs to be exactly in line with the current song for it to be usable. It's possible to record, save, reload, start it manually, but it's all far from hassle free.

If by default the remix deck would "start" it's beat counter the moment the first capture is made while the master song is playing, in sync with its phasing, then the remix deck could be used to seamlessly capture / play / take over the song while this is very difficult now to accomplish live.
