    Hello All,

If I map deck C and Deck D as remix decks, can I continue to use the faders, effects knobs and the jog dial and control the remix decks?

    Best Regards,
    John Joseph

I'm assuming you ave an S2? So my answer is yes, but as an S4 owner this works out of the box.

    Hello tmccoy,

Thank you for the reply, while researching on the remix decks, I saw a tutorial that shows/mentions that the Pitch, EQ's Fader of S2Mk2 can be assigned to remix decks as well.

Please find the video below (please check from 1:05 to 1:20)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sbomAw9y7k

Can you please advise on how the same can be achieved?

    I have S2Mk2, Traktor Pro 2.6.6.

I would like to control the remix decks via Pitch Bend, EQ's, Faders.

    Best Regards,
    Joseph

You need a four deck mapping for the S2, like these, which will let you press a button like your Pitch RESET to put the controls into a Deck C/D mode. One thing to understand is that while Soft takeover helps, if you say turn the LO EQ all the way off, and then press the Deck selection button, the S2 knob will still be in the OFF position, but the new Deck (say deck C) will be in whatever position the Traktor SOFTWARE fader is in. So as soon as you touch a control, even with soft takeover, it will still eventually jump to the new position, which can result in some unexpected situations, depending on your workflow.

Just give these a try and see how you go!

Google search for "S2 4 Deck Mapping" or similar to find other ones like these.
