I'm having some trouble installing the Komplete 4 bundle on my Intel Mac 2.4 Macbook Pro. I select my main hard drive, do a custom installation (install everything but Battery and Guitar Rig, choose to install both keys libraries, and install RTAS format), but when the install gets close to finishing I get this error "Error creating folder. 1008:9, -61" then a second windows pops up saying "An error occurred that prevented the installation from completing." And the installer shuts down. Anyone come across this problem?

It installed OK on my Mac G5, but it won't allow me to authorize it. I update the Native Instruments Service Center, login, but when I go to the 'Product Overview' page, only Kontakt2 shows up (I have Komplete 4). How can I get Komplete 4 to show up so I can register it?

    Hi Andrew07,

I could not find a request under your registered email address. Did you receive a ticket number after you have created your request? What is the number of your ticket then?

    Hi Andrew 07,

if Service Center just finds Kontakt 2 this means that the installer did not write preferences files to

    root(the OS X drive uppmost level) /library/preferences
    and
    root(the OS X drive uppmost level) /users/<your username>/library/preferences

A reason for this could be corrupted access permissions for these folders, so the installer was not allowed to create a file or folder there. Also possible would be that the preferences files to be written already exist, but the present files refuse to be overwritten and/or show other anomalies.

    Please try:
    1. use disc utility (applications/utilities) and repair disc permissions of your OS X volume.

    2. go through both the preferences folders specified above and delete any preferences file which you can detect by its name as belonging to your Komplete bundle (such as Komplete 4.plist, Pro-53.plist, com.native-instruments.Reaktor 5.plist etc.).

    When done install again.

Running disk utility and trashing all preference files let me do an install without any errors. I ran the service center and was able to authorize all the instruments. In Pro Tools 7.4 though only Absyth and FM8 show up in the instrument tab. I know the other instruments installed though because I can see their folders, and if I open them in stand alone mode they're fine

That's because all the rest have separate UB updates; Absynth and FM8 were the only ones UB compatible out of the box (or at least that's how it was with the original K4 installers). Start up the Service Center and download the updates for all the others.
