Replying to threads.....

Hi, still relatively new here. Would someone be able to tell me why threads which I started would now say

"You have insufficient privileges to reply here"??

Which thread(s)? Have they been closed for some reason? I think threads used to automatically close after a length of time, maybe that's what's happened.

 

I think you may be right. The thread was started on Oct 26, 2016 and the last entry was Oct 29, 2016. I didn't think that was considered that old though

 

I don't think threads are closed automatically. Must have been closed by mod or admin. Any link to the thread?

 

I would say that's definitely not old enough to be closed automatically if, indeed, the forum does still do that. I think that might have been a "feature" of the old-style forum though. Which thread?

 

I've just looked at your threads and they are in a sub-forum that's since been closed and archived, hence no-one can continue them.

 

Go to the Technical Issues sub forum that you posted in and read the giant bulletin at the top.
