So I came to Traktor right after the pandemic hit. I hadnt dj'd in about a decade but got right back into the swing of things rather quickly but there's one thing (for this request) that really stands out to me.

As an old school DJ I used Vinyl for years and memorized (to this day 20yrs later) the album covers so that I could quickly grab the record and choose the appropriate track. While TP3 has a good layout, I was wondering how hard it would be to create an expand/collapse option within the track browser so that you could open/close an Album and look for the tracks within.

Basically, I want to be able to have my A sides/Bsides (same track with Vox/Without Vox or alternate remixes) etc all in one row of the browser so that I can click on the Cover Art or album name and then see the tracks within that "Record". Its a tad bit harder to explain that I anticipated but I think my point came across. Feel free to ask any questions you may have.

    Thanks in advance.

That’s an interesting idea, but might actually be overkill.

If you have your files properly tagged, when you sort on name/title, they’ll all be Grouped together anyway...

is this functionally equivalent to filling in the "release" tag and using the search icon in that field to only show tracks from that release?

    Or, just sorting on release...

like all of these things, it all boils down to proper tagging.

If you wanna sort/search, you’ve have something to sort on/search for, right?
