Requirement for next T2 upgrade

    when installing T2 and asked if i use a controller i naturally answered yes, but wasn't able to find mine on the list ( Jazzmutant Lemur ), or at list one choice called 'general midi' or something like that that would have allowed me to import directly my tsi file from TPro..... so is this so hard to add ?

    Second, why isn't this possible to import directly TPro settings into T2 ? One more time it would have been a time saver.....

    But any way so far so good, i was pleased to discover that the sample decks can be set individually instead of having both decks C and D into that mode.

    Yes, currently you have to

    - export your settings from TPro 1
    - import those settings into TPro 2

    A bit annoying. Not too annoying though, it took me about 45 seconds.

    This is one thing I'm not looking forward too. I spent about 200 hours programming my Lemur interface. Daft Punk would take their helmets off in amazement. The glitch mob would no longer glitch should it come before them... With all the new features, I'm going to have to do a ground up redesign.

    The problem is, how on earth can NI make a setup file for a totally modular controller.

    @Scooby - the mapping should still be good in TPro2, apart from the new features
    @Karlos - true, also the Lemur is no longer being made. Torpedoed by the iPad

    there is a misunderstanding here, am not asking for a specific Lemur tsi file from Ni, of course they cannot provide it. I was just asking a way to import my file from the new installation manager, controller list is limited and does not include some general midi.

    And by the way still no news to get OSC back in traktor ?

    Lemur is no longer being made u are right, but Ipad is far behind Lemur considering the possibility and reliability

    @Lethal~ Yeah I know. all the new features are gonna cause me to redesign the UI.
    @Karlos~ Anybody who actually has a Lemur knows its a custom UI. I'll be interested to see if I have any issues getting my files across. I have a custom TSI for Korg nanoPad, Maschine, & the Lemur.
