Resampling in MAschine?

Hi there. I'm a new Maschine user and was wondering if the following is possible.

Say I have three different drum patterns in one group.

Can I record myself playing them onto another pad to create a new pattern?

Yeah you can, what is it exactly you want to do? Make one pattern of all the three patterns? They are all in the same group/kit so you can make as much patterns of those sounds as you want.
You can also record what youre playing in the sampler so it becomes on one pad, if that was what you mean?
Perhaps i misunderstood, if so can you explain what you exactly want to do

 

YES! Thats exactly what I mean! I have three different patterns in the same group. I want to play them and make variations while recording what I do onto another pad to make a new sample.

How is this done?

 

You could open sampling in another group, set it on internal , hit start, it will say "wait" (waiting for input) go play youre patterns in the other group and it will all be recorded in that other group you have sampling on. It starts recording automaticly as soon as you start playing the patterns.
When done, go back to the group you have sampling in and press stop.
Than you can edit it if you like and its on a pad (or slice it so it gets on multiple pads)

Im troubleshooting here rightnow myself so my head isnt all focussed cause im stressed with my own problem lol but im pretty sure there is another way to do this also but cant think of it rightnow but this will work for sure to.
Edit i think im confusing with sampling just a sound on a pad, that can you do all in one group , the sampling group, with patterns you cant i think. I think its only possible how i just explained.
If somebody knows another way, please do tell. Im gonna get back busy troubleshooting my own problem now lol
