Reset key adjust on loading

As a S4 mk3 user I don't want to have mixer or decks control reset when loading tracks, however, there is no reason NOT to have key adjust control reset, as key adjust should to be set in relation to the particular track's key. Is this possible with the new beta?

 

Map 'keylock on' - interaction mode Direct - set to value 0 when loading deck.

 

The latest 3.2.0 beta does reset key adjust when loading a new track if "Reset all deck controls when loading track" is enabled

 

Thank you for your answer, but my point was I do not want to reset all decks controls when loading track, just key adjust (including on/off state).

 

ok, i see! then probably a custom mapping like suggested by Scratch-E Con is a best way to achieve that.

I have tried doing this with mapping before but failed. I will revisit controller mapping then.

edit: Still think it makes sense to have an independent preference setting just for key adjust reset on loading though.

 

- go to preferences / Controller Manager
- select your S4 as Device

- Add in... / Track deck / Keylock On
- press Learn
- press button on your S4 that loads deck A
- Type of controller BUTTON
- Interaction mode DIRECT
- Set to value 0
- press Duplicate
- press Learn
- press button on your S4 that loads deck B
- close preferences

 

Best if it's added as an option in preferences.
