Restoring collection from previous Traktor instance

I run Traktor on my Mac. iCloud Drive backs up my Traktor folder automatically which resides under ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor 2.11.x

I was happily running v2.11.2 of Traktor but a system fault required me to reformat the MacBook pro and reinstall everything.

Once I had the OS up and running I reinstated my mp3 collection into the exact same location as it was before. iCloud restored my Traktor folder (~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor 2.11.2) exactly as it was the day before I did the reinstall.

Nice.

However, I installed Traktor and its a newer version - v2.11.3.

How do I reimport the settings/collection/track analysis data from v2.11.2 into v2.11.3 correctly?
should I try and install v2.11.2, and then upgrade to 2.11.3? can I even still get hold of 2.11.2?

This seems like a weird edge case that isn't covered in the support documentation available.

Go to Preferences > File Management and look for the Root Dir option. Click the ...! button on the far right, navigate to ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor 2.11.2 and click Choose. Restart Traktor and everything will be restored.

You can then delete the ~/Documents/Native Instruments/Traktor 2.11.3 folder, which is no longer used.
