    Hello,

I've been using Traktor DJ (1.6.8) on my iPad mini 2 (running iOS 10.3.3) for a few years, it's been working great.
So great actually, that paired with the Z1, it's my main setup for a gig, or recording mixes for podcasts.

Recently, I decided to upgrade the iPad mini 2 with the new iPad mini 5, to double the storage (32GB to 64GB) and improve to loading tracks time (faster CPU, more RAM).
Sadly, I had to re import all the mp3/wav as iTunes didn't include them in the backup of the iPad mini 2. It didn't included either the playlists created on the iPad iTunes app. I can see the history of my previous mixes in the TD history menu, but all the tracks are grey, and can't be accessed.
But it's all right, it's annoying, but I can manage.

What bothering me the most is that the Reverb FX doesn't work at all.
I tested all other FX ; Delay, Gater, Flanger, Beatmasher, Digital LoFi, Reverse, Iceverb, Transpose, LP Filter, HP Filter, all are working fine.
The only one that doesn't work at all is Reverb. Unfortunately, this is the only FX I use a lot to make super smooth transitions.

Anyone here has the same problem on a similar setup? (Traktor DJ [1.6.8] on iPad mini 5 running iOS 12.3.1)

    Hi,

No crash, just the signal is totally dry.

Let me show you. I made a clip. The First iPad on the video is the mini 2 for reference, then the second (from 0:30) is the mini 5.

Mini 2 running iOS 10.3.3 has no problem at all.
On mini 5 running 12.3.1, when I select Reverb, I can move my finger on the xy pad anywhere, it has no effect, Delay effect (at 0:52) is working ok, it's only the Reverb FX that doesn't work.

:( Got it, thats a shame. I can not imagine that the HW is relvant, i have the fear it is the difference in iOS version.
I still use 11.2.5 on my iAd Air2, 128 GB, because always afraid iOS12 could damage my TDJ1.

Can anybody confirm if the Reverb FX is working .. using iOS 12 ??

Thx ! .. this helps in first step, good to know .... but you use same new ipad mini as aritomi ;)
... so to differentiate if it is new iPad mini related or iOS (what we assume):

Does anybody with an older iPad (e.g. same my Air2) the new iOSS 12 installed .. does the Reverb fx work ??

    Hello,
I suspect iOS 13 is causing these problems... at least on my two setups:

    iPhone 5s + iOS 12 = Reverb works fine.
    iPhone Xs + iOS 13 = Reverb doesn’t work.

Somewhat annoying... but that’s about it.

    Best,
    Kalle®️
