Hello! I use Absynth as FX for other softsynths.
I use these softsynths with a wind controller (sending CC2 and CC11).
When I stop to play with the wind controller, the sound is cut off immediately. That does not sound natural when using the Absynth-reverb for exemple. I have to blow less hard in the wind controller, so it fades out. But that is not fun to play.
Is there a possibility to get the Absynth FX (for exemple delay and reverb) reacting more naturally and fading off independently from the Midi-breath-command?

    If you
    1. Go to the File menu and create a New Sound-
    2. Set the Master Envelopes Release time to zero
    3. Activate the effect module
    Then does'nt it work correct?

I think especially your CC#11 is often assigned to control Channel Volume. And if the the sound has a Envelope Release time, then you cut that off. That will also have an impact on the Effect, as the input signal for the effect is cut off. It does'nt have to be the effect it self that is cut off.

I suggest you check what your midi CC#02 and midi CC#11 control, and also control the Envelope release times.
Perhaps you even control the effect output or master volume so the effect actually is being cut off.

Just my thoughts and suggestions. I do not have a breath controller.

Hello LBH, thanks for your answer.
"I suggest you check what your midi CC#02 and midi CC#11 control, and also control the Envelope release times."
I filtered my windcontrollers midi signals - and you were right; one midi-signal was controlling the release times; but it was not CC2 and CC11, but CC7 being also sent by my windcontroller. Now, I am switching off CC7 constantly and everything is working fine!

    Hi WIndplayer.

    Great it works.

Midi CC#07 is i generel midi used to control Master volume. It's often reserved for this in instruments. I think that's what's going on then.
You can look at the Volume parameters in the Perform page/ MIDI tab. You can also set the depth of the effect here and the lag. It can be good to use for volume expressions, and i assume it gives you an extra expression possibility with your breath controller,
