Currently you can set an external midi controller to use only a limited range of the parameter's full range. This is very useful (and often necessary) when controlling 'unusual' parameters with a pedal, because you often don't want to sweep through 100% of the knob's range, just modulate within a 'sweet spot', but using the whole pedal sweep.

Sadly, you can't set these range brackets for the native Rig Kontrol pedal (at least on my RK2), only for external midi CCs (through the controller menu).

Similarly it would be nice to be able to set curves for all expression pedal inputs, instead of just the linear sweep you are forced to use right now.

    Hi,

You can set it also for the RK Pedal.

Assign your pedal to the effect.
Click on the RK icon next to the preset name at the top.
Click on the up arrow at the top right of the RK that has appeared at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the box that's just under the red "wah meter".

On the top of the controller, you can now assign the range of your wah.

Notice that you can do that too with any switches (e.g. to control a gain setting or a mid scoop).

    Cheers

having different curves would be great. I still use my EB VP jr because the linear volume pedal just doesn't work right for me.
