Hi people, i'm a newbie and my names Leon. Been reading the forums for a little while but never posted anything (the search usually helps me out leaps and bounds)!

I software mix at home using Traktor 3 and timecodes on CDJ 1000's, i dont usually take Traktor when im playing out because most of the time i have trouble getting it to calibrate properly and cant be bothered with the agg so i just burn all my stuff to cd (which i hate as its too time consuming and I love seeing my music whilst using Traktor!

Think i'm more then likely going to upgrade to Traktor Scratch Pro this weekend and purchase the Kontrol X1 as soon as its realeased and stop using CDJs altogether!

Anyway the reason of my post is, i hold a few residencys around where i live and one of ther bars has the CDJ 400's. I've only just realised that they can be used as midi with Traktor but dont know how to go about it  ......I've watched a few videos online but im still not 100% sure! Do i run a USB cable from each CDJ and do i need to download any drivers etc to link it all up?

Any help would be greatly appreciated ;)

    Thanx in advance
    Leon x

P.s my setup is a Toshiba PC, Dual Core, 1.73 GHZ, 2038 MB Ram and 200GB Hard Drive! Traktor 3 and Audio 8 DJ

From what I understand, after this coming update you only need to plug in one usb cable per CDJ and you should be all set with everything pre-mapped.

Right now there is HID support so that you'll get your track names and such on the CDJ-400, but you'll have to map the other buttons, which should be play, pause, pitch e.t.c.

Yeah, the native support is there as of now with the display info and such things working, but the zero-config isnt' working yet if I'm not mistaken?
