    Hello everyone,

I would like to kindly ask for some help in a mechanical problem that I have encountered in my S2. I've been using it for about 3 weeks now and yesterday the left jogwheel started to get stuck whenever I am using it to scratch - English is not my native language so excuse me for finding it hard to describe.

So what happens is that it feels like the lower side of the jogwheel strains against the body of the controller below it, or as if there was a small particle or the like between them causing this strain. It has a mechanical grinding sound and feel to it.

Is there a way to lift the jogwheel up to look underneath without damaging the rubber on the perimeter? I would like to see if there's anything in between the jogwheel and the other parts.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Bprazz

    Left Jog wheel Grinding

I also have this same problem. I have only had it for like 2 days and the left jog wheel is grinding. Any help would be appreciated.

I would suggest following the instruction in the sticky at the top of this forum for removing and replacing your jog wheel. Then re-calibrate.

After re-calibration i have still the same problem.
when i scratch and push the wheel it's sounds like something rasps and the wheel is blocked.
    I have my S2 since a month.
    I hope for support.

    Hello

Brand new S2 here (only 2 days), yesterday I haven't notice it, but I have the same problem. I have use the stuff carefully, so I think it is a conception problem on some S2 (and like you guys, it's the left jog wheel).

I will contact my dealer or NI to request a repair / change.
