S2 mk2 / Traktor Pro 2 mapping woes

I've used Traktor DJ (iPad) with my s2 mk2 for a year now and got on great.

I loaded traktor pro 2 for the first time time today and the mapping seems to be a complete mess.

Am I being stupid? I've tried the default mapping settings in TPro2 but can't find one that links the s2's layout to the main functions in the same way it works with Traktor DJ. Is there a solution that I'm missing?

 

It should be plug and play with Traktor Pro 2. Make sure you have a recent version like 2.6.8 or newer to fully support the S2 Mk2.

You can also try running the setup Wizard from the Traktor configuration window to reset Traktor to defaults and restore the S2 default mapping

 

Thanks, the software is all latest versions, I guess perhaps just some of the functionality is different to Traktor DJ (but that doesn't explain why for example the Filter knob on the S2 changes gain on Traktor Pro)

 

Did you try the Setup Wizard?

The mapping shouldn't be that messed up. Interestingly, someone else posted something similar in that the mapping was also strange, but this was when it was previously working correctly.
