S2 Owners

Hey everyone, I've seen plenty of links to things on here so I guess this is ok?

I have an S2, I love it. I have spent a serious amount of time building a new map for it,

it has

native control of decks C&D, you can choose track or sample decks from the controller

8 Hotcues with delete on decks A&B

Jog FX,10 different jog FX combo's

Jog Filter, forget the clicky nob filter, jog wheels are nicer

Jog Browser, scan & load tracks from your jog wheels

FX Button fire mode, kinda like a midi fighter (8 different effects)

Delay freeze, jog wheel for filter and feedback

Loop recorder control, loop size, dw, record, play and delete

Deck Zoom

Crossfader curve adjust

Beat grid your tracks from the S2 (all 4 decks)

Start/Stop, Cut & Gain the mix recorder

Master & PGM VU modes, selected from the S2

Copy loop to any sample deck

EQ Kill Buttons for decks A&B

C&D Volume control from while using decks A&B

Monitor Cue for each Deck

Uses all 4 Traktor FX units, assignable to every deck

Software Master Volume control


All from the S2 in native mode!

Also comes with, iPhone & iPad lemur templates.
iPad features : (Display deck mode, choose each effect from the full list, randomise selected FX unit effects, 20 User presets which save! XY multi FX with physics (switched)) BPM Matching display


Midi mode, if you prefer you have full control of track decks C&D from midi mode, template and Control Editor file included.

Ive updated the map a few times, new features;

Set VU to PGM or Master from S2

Delay freeze on all decks

Set each deck to scratch control relative or internal mode

Xfader assign from s2

and lots of bug fixes and improvements

this is 16 jog fx in native mode man, and a lot more

New update today, I've made it a easier on newcomers to traktor, less to remember. Easily use all four decks with your s2, I mapped tempo range adjust as well. The map gets the best reviews


Im working on the ipad side of it more now, if you have an s2 or ipad have a lookey look

 

Q : is possible to use this mapping on a windows pc ?

Altogether, more hours than Id like to think about. I guess it took a few days at first, since I released it I have updated it pretty much every day, it has loads of features that have been requests from other users of it. I have managed to include almost every request so far Im really proud of it, I've tried to keep it easy to use and complete. I think it seriously improves the s2. I know I made it, and bragging about something I made sucks, but it really is good. I use it every day, so if I think I could make something better I do

 

Now comes with 2 and 4 deck versions, a lot of users wanted a simple 2 deck version, so I made it It has all the features, I really like it, if you prefer just 2 decks, its great. Been updating it all the time with requests. Theres a fb group for it now to. If you have an s2, its definitely worth a look Sorry about bumping my thread

 

It's so so good! Glitching (delays) out fun time with the sample a/b Best mapping ever!

 

Will have to check it out when I've got my head around the basics. Only had my S2 for a few days. Potentially dumb question: can you change mappings really easily? Like, try this mapping then go back to the original with the click of the mouse?

 

Hi mate, yeah it's easy to change, the original mapping is still there so if you want you can switch back in a couple of clicks. Ive tried to keep it easy to use. Anything you'd like to know ask away
