s4 and jbl speakers?

    i just got the s4 and was looking into speakers but the jbls i want only have 1/4 and xlr the s4 if u own it only has rca and 1/4 could i go 1/4 inch to 1/4 inch or should i use a 1/4 inch to xlr please help ? or what would be a good speaker choice for around 800

    1/4" plug and XLR will give you basically the same performance, as they are both balanced forms of connection. Just use 1/4" cables to connect to your speakers of choice. For around $800, look at the JBL EON series, Mackie VRM450, or some of the RCF models. Can't go wrong with any of them.

    and to be specific..buy cables that are 1/4" TRS cables... regular 1/4 TS cables are not balanced.

    test the speakers BEFORE you buy it.
    for the price of the EON you can get much better sounding stuff.
    RCF is for examble a total different class. seriously.
    each 12inch RCF I´ve heared so far...blowed each JBL, in case of EON even the 15inch...to hell.

    and no, I don´t hate JBL...I`ve just paid my lession learned and sold the ****.
    big name....sounds in that class like.....
