Ive tried reformatting my Windows Vista based Dell and still hearing the pops and clicks even if music isnt playing. Disabling(tweaking) everything and taking out the battery has helped a bit but not a for sure fix. Everyone has pretty much determined the issue is the internal soundcard on the S4. So i feel that im going to have to go out and buy an external soundcard, but am concerned about sticking with an NI product such as the A2DJ.. Are people using this soundcard in the meantime until we have a windows fix? :S

I always carry an Audio 2 DJ with me, not that I have problem with TSP or S4, but as a backup solution, it is just perfect.

The quickest and the cheapest fix. Also the Audio2 should sound the same as the S4 built-in soundcard.

I've seen on another thread, namely this one here : http://www.native-instruments.com/forum/showthread.php?p=781360#post781360

that people are experiencing dropouts with the Audio2 as well and it's the same story all over again: tweaking, disabling things, etc. Is there anyone here that can confirm that there are no dropouts with the Audio2 ? I hope it works flawlessly, I am prepared to buy it...big big headake this S4. It's a shame, it's such a great product.

The latest drivers are the same as the ones for the S4 hence the same issues.
To fix the issues with Audio 2/4/8 install the previous drivers v2.0.15.

I think the audiofire2 is better solution, and it even has better audio quality.

Best off waiting till NI gets into gear and fixes these issues otherwise start researching on youtube or music sites on different sound cards. So many different sounds cards out there but not all are compatible. Remember find a company who constantly keeps up to date with drivers something Ive learnt after a few doggy ones myself :p
