S4 Controller problem!

    Evening, i have had an S4 for a good while and its been absolutely fine. Went to use it today and the controller is fooked..... the software runs great if its just on the mac, but as soon as the controller is switched on the whole programme stop and starts, stops and starts and so on (like running it on a rubbish pc, but worse). There's a real screwed up sound and it's unusable. As soon as i turn the controller off, the programme returns to normal and runs fine.... any help or tips or previous experience from others would be much appreciated! :angry:
