One thing I noticed is when I set Cue Points, or 'Hot Cues' ~ and retrigger them, WITHOUT the track playing (basically using them as 'gated triggers',) they POP when I release the cue button. ~ NOTE this happens only if I release the cue button in the middle of a wave form.

When audio is cut off abruptly it POPS. So when you let go of the cue button in the middle of an audio wave, when the track isn't playing and you are just sampling; you get a strong popping sound. What Traktor needs is a built in 'quick fade' for when the cue button is released.

In other audio editing software: it used to be, you had to do quick fades manually if you cut an audio file in the middle of a wave. Now most of them do that fade automatically to avoid the pop, and save you the hassle. Traktor needs this feature.

i've noticed that too, and i don't understand why it is happening since s4 is based in traktor pro and it didn't happen there.

i've also noticed that a loop may disengage if you hit the cue button. randomly, sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn't. i haven't found the pattern.

this is weird stuff that i don't like, it makes me be thinking on things i shouldn't care of. i guess these issues should be understood and solved in next versions (hopefully, soon...)

Same issue. Did you put this in 'feature suggestions'? I'm sure many others have this problem

Yup, I have it too...and I don't like it. Still, most of the time you don't really hear it in when sampling in a mix, but it should not be happening.

Hope this will be fixed. It works fine in Pro with CDJ2000's.

Here is a great example ~ when this guy starts playing, he begins by triggering a kick drum: every time it POPS when he releases adding extra (unwanted, and unflattering,) rhythm.
