S4 "included drivers" question

    Quik question, why does the S4 software disc and setup include installs for Audio 2/4/8 DJ Drivers + Traktor Audio 2/6/10 Drivers when theres a setup/install driver screen that specifically asks you to install the driver for either the Kontrol X1 or S4? Isnt the Kontrol S4 supposed to have its OWN driver integrated in and be standalone? im wondering now if my PLAY buttons wont do anything simply because i havnt installed Audio 10 or another one of the other drivers.

    You don't need to install them but remember Traktor Pro 2 is a generic distribution for anyone and some might have those hardware units in addition to S4. kext drivers are cheap so it might even be worth installing them to your laptop in case you suddenly need to use such as unit at an unexpected gig situation.

    The other drivers have nothing to do with the Traktor Pro 2 and S4 functionality.
