So i posted about this in the main S4 forum, and i don't seem to be alone.

in short, the Jog Wheel for pitch bending "outer platter" is waaaay too sensitive, and needs to be able to be adjusted.

i've read that it has 1000 clicks of resolution per roaation, this is all fine and good, but that means that moving it +/- 1mm in either direction is enough to throw off your mix. if accidentally nudged just a fraction of an inch, it will throw off your mix.

this needs to be adjustable in preferences, some people ahve spent their lives getting used to one sensitivity say on the CDJ-1000's and to not be able to emulate that is a big fail imo.

love the S4, please fix this in an upcoming patch!

yeah, i just got through using one of the pioneer DDJ-T1's, and i hate to say, but the ONLY thing that that unit has going for it, is that when in a mix, getting the groove right "on" the money and locked just feels smooth.

i can see why people who've been using CDJ's for the past 10 years will like it more.

The S4 has much better features, fx, sample deck support, bla bla bla. it's a superior product IMO, that's why i bought it, i'm just saying that there's no reason why there can't be an option to emulate a less-sensitive CDJ-1000-type jog wheel.

Traktor is very open about emulating the Ecler, A&H, and Pioneer EQs in the mixer section, there should be an equal option to emulate different sensitivities for their jog wheel.

ok all we want is an option for those of us who are used to moving the outside platter closer to resembling CDJs. if you move the S4 platter less than ONE MILIMETER it is the difference of being "on the beat" and "off the beat"

all we want is for the OPTION to make this process a BIT less sensitive.

if you reach for an FX knob and ACCIDENTALY brush the side of the platter even very very slightly, you'll mess up your mix.

I've just bought an S2, and I'm VERY surprised by how sensitive the platter is (basically, FAR too sensitive to control a mix accurately). Has there been any update?

Jiggle... That's right.. that's the key.. im searching for adjust the sensitivity of jog like pionner CDJ's in traktor, (i have NDX900), but the NDX jog is not sensitive... Far away, i think TEMPO SENSITIVITY like pionner or other are between 35 % and 50%, but, i want to know the real number...

If any one know.. please POST! :)

    Saludos
