S4 MK3 compatible

Needs to be S4 MK3 compatible also as this is a new controller also which people have bought and most people that have this controller aren't gonna shell out for an S2 MK3 reason I suggest this is because people with S4 MK3 won't be able to use the streaming facilities thats coming in the future

 

I already asked this in the feedback section. But at least the official statement is that they want to integrate more hardware. Question is, will it be S4 MK3 or MK4 ;-)

 

or mk2 .. don't forget: we have S4mk2 user which works great with TDJ1 .. so it is a pity that this feature was not transferred.

 

Is The problem that the s4 is already a standalone and hase the displays. It might require to much power the s4 is less hobbyist and more performance where as the s2 is going after the ddj 200 crowd no?

 

I think a quite more simple reason (not necause electric power, TDJ fires still HID signal messages only):
Coding handshake protocol of inbuild displays and motorized jogwheel need more coding effort for the developer, question of prioriitization and resources

 

Yeah True forgot about motorised wheels.

 

I know but don’t need to have the jogwheels motor on or use screens while plugged into Traktor dj2 plus sure they aren’t just gonna keep this app for this controller

 

S4 Mk3 support or gtfo

 

If they get the app stable then the cries for support will be deafening for the s4 mk3...I know I’ll be one of them. Having the option to carry your iPad as a backup to your laptop or even a more convenient device for travelling, would be a no brainer for iPad users. It’s not going to replace their desktop market with TP3 any time soon, but I understand they may be hesitant.. but please give us the option NI !
