S4 not working after update to T2PRO 2.1.1

Hi everybody,

after updating T2PRO to version 2.1.1 my Kontrol S4 doesnt work anymore. Audio still is, but the controller is completely inactive - no LEDs and no reaction in Traktor when pressing buttons or moving faders. The CTRL indicator doesnt show any activity and in the preferences anything S4-specifc is deactivated/not shown. Additionally all my user and controller settings (i.e. for my additional nanoKontrol) are gone - even though they were copied to the directory of the new version when i started the updated version.

I downloaded the update with another computer because my notebook, which runs under Windows XP SP3, has no network connection. I then copied the file via USB stick to my notebook and started the installation (S4 being connected), which was completed without errors. During the installation i activated the checkbox for the Kontrol S4 Controller/Driver.

Then i started Traktor, it copied some settings files and now the situation is as described above. Did i forget something? Are there other people with similar issues?

Have you managed to fix this? In exactly the same position and have a gig in less than an hour! Someone please help!

 

Reinstalling Traktor from Scratch helped me. I think leaving the S4 connected during the update was the cause of the issue.

Anyway, too late to help you for your gig, i guess.
