S4 sound quality in mix

    Hi

    When i play only from S4 (without decks) sometimes i have 2 problems:

    - some lags and trash in tracks or when i use fx (latency 512 or 256, multi core disable, in controller editor after test latency is on yellow)
    - load control is mostly orange

    In traktor audio and control display is blue.
    S4 is in internal mode/mixer.
    I use 320 kbs mp3.

    Record quality dependent also for my soundcard in computer?

    If you get any CPU spikes while playing, they will also impact the recording. You should go through the Windows Optimization Guide to find out the source of the spikes.

    Then you need to check your levels. Make sure the Main output isnt in the Red. Then check the Recording Level Meter, which has its own gain and also could be going into the Red and clipping. Finally compare your Traktor recording WAV to the MP3 to make sure it sounds ok. If the WAV is ok but the MP3 isnt, then your MP3 converter is the culprit.
