S4 switching laptops?

    Hey guys, is the activation software bounded to the S4?

    Basically, my buddy has an S4 and i'm going to mix with it, so can I just bring my laptop and hook it up so long as I have traktor installed already?

    As long as you have Traktor 2, it will work.

    Okay great, I can see that NI has those to download on their website.

    Another question, I tried to use my friend's S4 last weekend, but it was all sorts of wonky... the cue buttons were what played a deck, and the channel faders did not work. I believe the input/output settings were incorrect.

    Can someone take a screenshot of the input/output settings or post the necessary knowledge?

    I think I might have confused myself because I set it up as an external controller, but in reality the S4 just controls the internal mixer of traktor, so I'm assuming it should be set to internal mixing mode?

    EDIT: One more question... how can you change the sampling rate of the soundcard built into the S4 and what is the default?
