hopefully we can move away from trolleys now that there is no need to haul crates of vinyl around :)

I think the clear winner so far is the Magma Gig bag 25 or the Novation 25 bag. I'm probably going to go with the Magma one as it looks like it's a better build.

does anyone tried to fit a maschine & laptop together with the S4 in the Magma or the Novation?

with a risk to become really greedy - can the magma fit Maschine+S4+Crane+MBP+headphones :D

    lo. cheers
it has got good protection around it and looks pretty good , but not to everybodys taste i guess.
still it does the job carrying s4 and a denon 3700 pluss room for cables and i dont have to carry the heavy thing around! practical

Your brave - there's no way I'd trust the bag with all that kit.

It really is flimsy and provides no real protection. Sorry to be harsh, and it's nothing personal towards Magma - I was so hyped about getting the bag and it let me down massively.

Now I have a credit note to spend in a shop I rarely go in. Really hope UDG do the business and drop a well made bag that you could even go mountaineering with.

I also don't feel that it'd be OK to put all this stuff in a Magma, or any other backpack for that matter. It has to be two bags, if I'm taking so much gear with me.

damn, I wish there is an X1 style bag for the S4 - lightweight, compact, protective, functional. Also for maschine ...

Just picked up a bag from Arnold Palmer (yeah the golf guy has a luggage line now). It's simple enough in appearance...is big enough for the S4 and a bunch of other kit...hard drives, laptop, etc. Has wheels and a handle that can be stowed or backpack straps.

All in all a great bag that cost me 60 SGD which is dirt cheap compared to all these spcecialized bags.

    Zippers are good quality too.

Here it is next to my pelican hard case I use to transport around all my photography gear to give you an idea of size if you know the pelican hard case. I'm moving countries right now and I'm able to get the S4 a couple hard drives, PS3, headphones, and a bunch more stuff in there with plenty of room to spare. If you just have the S4 in, it doesn't look to big and bulky and the backstraps work great.

sorry for the crappy pic, using the cellphone and just wanted to throw something up quickly.

magma back pack is for a laptop and s4.

not s4 laptop and a mixer or cdj!
