I just updated to TP2 and have found many glitches and bugs with the S4 controller.

    1. holding the volume fader in the fully closed state makes the line escalate/hop randomly.
    2. right.shift button if pressed repeatedly will mess with the grid marker locations on decks.
    3. modifier status is not being passed to mappings properly.

anyone know a work around or experiencing the same problems?

also, i should have mentioned this happens not only with the right but also with the left one. you can use them for tapping the tempo. a minimum of 5 pressed are required iirc

you might wanna give us an example of 3.) to make your issue a little more concrete

I have a custom mapping that uses the sample buttons to trigger a gater effect. when shift is held the gater's amount is increased. The modifier status is being recognized, but that status is not being passed to the sample button press, resulting in no higher gater amount while i hold shift.

The strange thing is that I have this functionality working perfectly on the left deck, but when i duplicate controls over and re-learn for the right side, the modifier doesn't change the gater amount.

I'll record a video of the volume bug when I get home.

You should recalibrate all your faders and jogs just for good measure. Bad calibration could account for you volume issues.

Check your device target in your midi mappings. On S4 the sample decks were 1&2 on T2 the sample decks are 3&4.
