S61 Mod Wheel sending MIDI when not being touched

    I have the Komplete Kontrol S61 MK2 which I turned on after not touching it for several months while keeping it under a form-fitted plastic case.

    I had just updated the Komplete Kontrol software, when I opened my MIDI signal monitor software and noticed that the Mod Wheel is continuously sending MIDI, without me touching it:

    I have tried moving the wheel around to "clean" it, and I have tried restarting the device. I am running the latest version of Komplete Kontrol.app, and have the latest 0.5.9 Firmware installed on the device.

    There seem to be several people at the moment with this issue.

    Do we know if this is a known software or firmware problem, or could my device be defect? Is there a known solution?
