The FX are really bad. I'm not sure if its particularly the S8 or Traktor as this is my 1st Traktor set up.

I find that half the FX do nearly nothing! Adjusting the Wet/ Dry simply turns down the channel without adding anything.
And often while trying to adjust the parameters the screen goes into grey and red knobs instead of showing the parameter options.

Also; with the reverbs and delays, is there any way to make them pre fader? So I add delay, kill the fader channel but keep the delay tail?

    Many thanks

if you set your fx to post fader you can have the trail after you close the fader.

by the way i have no prob what so ever with the fx so i think its your settings somehow.

the fx send on deck c and d have to be adjusted instead of deck a and b witch are sending always. The dry/wet is just the amount of effect with the original sound. so full on its only effect you will here.

Thanks Rob, I just tested the Post Fade mode and it does indeed leave the tail after the fader is pulled down.
Post and Pre fade seem back to front here compared to how they work in DAWs (a little knowledge is dangerous as they say!)

I'll test the rest tonight at the bar, thanks again

    Hi
I'm having the same issue sung the fx with the screen often turning into grey and red knobs instead of showing the parameter options. Did you find out what this could be? It's really annoying

Yeah, the grey red knobs are showing the hardware knob is not in the same position as the software knob.
You can keep turning them till you find the correct position.
But for me I preferred to go into Effects settings > and uncheck 'Restore Parameters When Switching FX'
